For curiosity's sake, is there any possibility of getting a list of where people are in the queue, and the status of their cover?

What I can do is list the people that have paid in full, that missed the 1st cut. The order doesn't matter as all that missed out will get their covers at the same time.

Those missing out on the first batch that have paid are:

Peadya100
Alexeiwoody
Kiwigene
Reidy
CAAD7
MY02B4
Willabong
Tuned STI
Gen3v8
Bruce Dunn

There are also quite a few people that have ordered anodizing and are yet to have paid.

The next batch of covers will be fabricated by the 19th of february, and about 6 business days after that. So expected delivery time is the end of February.
Apologies for the delay, but as you all know, anodizing is an extra process i wasnt originally offering, so the batch i had anodized was very small.

I’m pleased to announce that the Gen 4 SI-Drive cover is going into production under the new company name “Diamond Works”

I am now offering the covers permanently in both Black Anodized and Clear Anodized.

The SI-Drive cover design will remain unchanged, and won’t be branded with a logo. I fully recognise that this may polarise people.

Both covers are now priced at $75 AUD and can be posted nationally or internationally for a non-profit postage cost.

I will still watch this thread, but there is now an official thread in the vendors section of the forum - viewtopic.php?f=80&t=31913&p=424531#p424531

I am looking into development of a few other exciting products. One of which being an SI-Drive cover for the Gen 5.

I look forward to announcing the other new products once they’re developed.

Fancy name! Congratulations :)

Just got my black cover today, thanks again Adam. It looks and feels just like the Prova cap (probably even better, obviously a slightly different design) but at EDIT: almost the third of the price! And much much better than the Perrin covers...and still at less than half the price 8)

Thanks guys!

Alexei - glad you like it!!
They really do feel nice when installed.. i'm biased of course, but im also my greatest critic, and even I think it feels great!

The name still feels a bit off to me, but a good friend of mine in marketing told me that all names will do at first. And it doesn't take too long to feel natural.. just takes time.

Will you be exploring designs for gear knobs and 6 speed reverse selectors?
All offerings from the USA are expensive, especially given our weak AUD.

I wasn't planning to, but ill have a look at it.

EDIT: Seems easy enough to make. I imagine they're not super cheap as they need to be made out of a heavy metal. But ill look into it for you.

Like the sound of that. Quite like the one piece one Perrin makes. My current one rattles a fair bit.

I like the look of the Perrin style as well.

I can definitely look at making something like that for you guys. Seems pretty easy.

Will just be a bit more of a stuff around sourcing the correct O-rings, stainless bolt to hold the cable, and grease packets etc. I may have to buy a Perrin one to assist in development. Not impossible though I obviously have to make it look different to the Perrin one to avoid copyright, but it will be along the same lines for internal design.

Just a thought - any chance it could be black centre and clear outer, like the McIntosh knbos?
