Nearly everything is in here to start with.

Nice work! Personally think the upper edge/lip should be similar to the prova item.

Ignore the upper lip style on that one. Just takes a very long time to render like that, so I just picked the 1 style to do it in. We'll work on the upper lip style next :-)

Thanks Shav.
I like it too.
Doesn't have to be an STI logo. Could be anything. Just showing the concept of a logo.

Looks good Adam!

No need for any sort of logo IMO.

Looks good. I love the STI logo but I can see it being divisive.

I love it with the STI logo as it suits the tbsti thing, but allot of people dont have tbsti's so it might not be best for everyone

I don't think you have to have a tbsti to display an sti logo... but it is definitely something that will polarize people. So again im happy to try different logos or patterns if anyone has an idea.
But in the end we'll go with the majority on this one too.

Looks great and the STI doesn't bother me but not really necessary and not sure on copyright etc.

I am intrigued as to what modeling software you are using for this. Quite impressive.

oh yeah for sure... definite copyright infringement haha
Wouldn't go into mass production with it, just the forum. But you're right, probably not necessary.

They've been modelled in a program called Microstation, which is autocad's main competitor for 2D drafting. But Microstation is far superior for 3D.

It's really looking awesome!! :D I'm actually gonna change my vote from the 'holy grail' McIntosh dial (Model 1) to this one instead.

No logo please though, it'll divide people too much. Having STi logo is nice for those who have a TbSTi, but for a non-STi car it's just rice.

Or, if we can get the CAD File without a logo, and have it made themselves. But that'll cost more, so would be nice to decide on one 8) .

I'm glad you've seen the light and ditched model 1 Tom... that halves my workload.. happy days!!

Happy to ditch the logo if that's the way the votes go. But again, ignore the fact it's an sti logo. Could be any logo, or could even be as simple as a pattern, some rings or some stripes just to break it up a bit.. if people wanted. If not plain suits me just fine! :-)

8) A pattern is a good idea!
+1 for a nice pattern depending on what it is.

I do admit an STi is the most fitting logo, but I just think of my friend who put a $5 TRD badge on his boot, desite nothing on his car being TRD. My car at least has a few STi parts, and Cosworth, and Mishimoto, and Stoptech..... but I personally wouldn't want any of those.

A simple racing-stripe (eg a thick line down the middle, with a thin stripe or 2 on the side). Or chequered might look good (or not, I'd have to see it to decide).
I may still prefer a blank top, but with the right pattern, I'dvote for that.
