I've had an approach from a marketing company, wishing to set up an "Official Subaru" sub-forum here, for "interacting with the community" and "Delivering Manufacturer information".
They've already done a similar thing on the Pajero forum at http://www2.pajeroclub.com.au/forum/for ... .php?f=111
We're not talking banner ads (which I can't stand), just another sub-forum like the vendor forums here.

They are offering to pay for it, which could finally relieve me from covering all the costs.
Thoughts?
I've already warned them a few trolls may try to disrupt it, but they say it works well on other boards...

I would ask if they will take feedback and input to Subaru but it doesn't matter what is claimed - doesn't mean it will happen. They will probably just do propaganda fly-bys but at least it should be constrained to one sub-forum and they will help fund things.
