PDR recommendations in Brisbane

Postby Shaheenis » Sat Apr 25, 2015 8:20 am

Does anyone know a reputable PDR technician in Brisbane? I have two small roof dents I want removed.

Also wondering if any of you have had dents removed from the roof and if so how they did it? Did they just drop down the roof lining on the sides? Would the airbags not get in the way? Both dents are about 1-2 inches in from the roof rails.

I can live with the dents if I have to but would prefer them gone. I just don't want more damage caused to the vehicle to get the dents out.

Cheers,
Shaheenis

Hi Mr Shaheenis,
When I purchased my SpecB I took it to The Original Dent Buster in Taren Point Sydney.
I wanted the car clean and straight and dent free.

I know that this is not in Brisbane.
For those in Sydney, Francios does an EXCELLENT job and is highly recommended.

One of the dents repaired was a dent in the roof that was removed at the time. This was repaired successfully.
Francios sends you away while he performs his magic.
A heat lamp is used to soften the paintwork while the metal deformation is removed.

Here is a youtube video showing how some of the work is generally done.

Before I took mine through Insurance for the hail, I was looking around Tim.
I just hit up the google machine, the shit ones stand out review & forums wise.

I would just avoid Wizard though, they're the mod that fked the paint on my car. Still waiting for them to fix it too. :(

Well I finally found someone who is worthy to recommend for others. Jason from Dent Active Everton Hills.

About 6 months ago some low life at the long term airport opened their 4x4 door onto my rear drivers door with force so much so it looked intentional (I wasn't there).

The result was nasty dent right on the toughest part of the door, the crease which is re-enforced from behind. I never thought PDR would be able to get to it and if they did retain the crease.

As it turns out I drive in for a quote, met one of the owners Jason and within 1.5hrs I had 4 dents from 3 separate panels removed for half of what my insurance excess would have been. You would never know there was ever a dent there. No trim needed to be removed either.

Stoked.
