Strange Anyone from subaru on this board..

Ok guys, i have a 06 subaru liberty ( facelifted shape ) it is a premium model..
Now i brought the car about 4 months ago.. A couple of weeks after i had brought the car i had noticed that the right hand side door inserts were FABRIC and not LEATHER like the rest of the car!!! Im like wtf ...
Also being a premium model shouldnt it have come with the mcintosh premium stereo system???
Im going to give subaru a call and let them know, but first what do you guys think...? Im definatly going to get the door inserts changed to leather but what about the mcintosh premium system???

I think only the non-GT and non-3.0R model comes with the Mcintosh system.
By premium you mean the 2.5i premium, right?

I still have the printed brochure for the MY06 models at home, I'll check what it says tonight.

not sure if this helps, but I have the 2006 (facelift shape) GT and it has the Mcintosh stereo and leather inserts...

MY07 model 2.5i Premiums did not get the McIntosh system......it was introduced onto the 2.5i Premiums for the MY08 models.

ahh ok... that explains it..
Whats the go with the fabric left hand side door inserts while the right hand side door inserts are leather?

Probably a factory fault mate. I know the dealer gt-b car that i tested had ivory leather instead of black. Take it back and question them.

It might not be completely straightforward.
You bought a used car from a dealer, rather than having them source a new car from Subaru.
Was it a Premium that missed out on a few bits, or a standard that they optioned up because it was a demo?
Having said that, if the dealer presented it as a Premium, then there is a reasonable expectation that this is what you should get.

the car was advertised as a premium model.. It even has that on all the documents...
It was brought from a subaru dealership

i class mine as a limited edition.. lol
how many people have a 2.5i..... thats it... not a premium, not a saftey, none of them.. just a 2.5i.. cloth interior... the lot.. ha ha

I just checked my '06 brochure.
The 2.5i Premium edition:
DOES have leather trim
Does NOT have McIntosh Stereo. (It has the 6CD/6 speaker CD stacker)
(It's also supposed to have a cassette player. Is that correct?)
DOES have an electrically adjustable driver seat
