Hi Guys, I am a big fan of the 3 series coupe and would like to know anyone who has owned or had real experience with european cars, pros and cons??!?!?

I had an E36 BMW 328i coupe. Very comfortable, I only had it for six months so I didn't really feel the sting of a service, although from memory it was a fair bit more expensive than ye' average Jap car.

I sold it because it was burning oil. It's comfy... and it looks good, driving a 328i on my Ps, but I came across the last Celica GT-Four in Australia, and I just couldn't resist...



So, pros:
Comfortable and luxuriously appointed
Good build quality - solid sounding doors, good sound deadening
Prestigious image?

Cons:
Heavy feel - doesn't feel sporty and agile
Expensive, both in initial purchase, and maintenance costs
Electronics like to break down
Poor resale value
