eye TV (not car related)

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

eye TV (not car related)

Anyone else using this gadget? USB stick digital tuner for your computer. My iMac is now a TV / digital recorder etc..

Works beautifully on all channels except SBS.

I cannot for the life of me get the thing to find SBS. Tried exhaustive scan and to manually set the tuner for the SBS frequency, but nothing works.

Any ideas?
Michael.

eye TV is for the mac.

Dad has 'Pinnacle' for his PC.

Both have excellent clarity but this would be dependant on your aerial. The little one supplied is useless but connected to my home external aerial reception is perfect (except for SBS :( )

Cost was $200-. The program that comes with it and has 3 mths free subscription is awesome in it's simplicity and ease of use for recording shows. I've just renewed for 12mths ($99).

BUT I WANT SBS!!

Digital works bestest with a modern aerial.. so even if you have a wacking great aerial on your roof it might be oldschool..

if you own your home, you can call an aerial co, say you can't get digital since the storm, and they'll deal direct with your insurance co.. ;) top tip

I had a new digital aerial put up 12 mths ago. All other TVs in house give excellent reception of all channels.

Well one normally has to pay for the hardware to watch the free to air broadcast and I've elected to buy a subscription to an electronic TV guide that is much more functional than any TV mag.
