Fark you Hail Storm

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Well went and got it checked.. it's about $3000-$4500 worth of damage.. he reckons he can get it all out for me and it should look very very smick again. There is x3 ones that he reckons are about 80% that he could fix them.. and if anything might see a little line, but wont see where the dint part is.. but he will try his best to get them all out :)

It's booked in for next Friday morning and should only take few hrs to do it all.. about $400 is the part that hurts

I'll try and get some pics before and after shots

Was nearly brand new.

Dents in the roof were so bad they cut the whole turret off and replaced it wif another one brought out from Japan.

4 months to fix and never the same.

Why wouldn't they wright it off?

They wouldn't write it off because it was only 10 months old.

Apparently what happends is..

They find the value of the car and then 1/2 it (50%) and with insurance they say.. if the hail damage is 50% of the total value of the car, they will not repair it, they will jsut write it off..

It is silly.. casue you could get it fixed cheaper then thru insurance..

e.g my damage is worth between $3,000-$4,500 in insurance hail stone damage and I can get it fixed, which I'm going to.. for $400 or less (hopefully lol)
