Hey guys,

Just letting you know I have re-directed my domain name "libertyrs.com" to link to "http://forum.liberty.asn.au/index.php" so it can be used for easyer access to the site, if you forget the current domain name.

I have a couple of domain names on hold, and thought would post them up to see what you all think of them, for this site :) so we can get the ball rolling :D

www.libertygt.net
www.libertygt.net.au
www.libertygt.org
www.libertygt.org.au

I was thinking something on the likes of .net.au as this is a Australian LibertyGT site, but in the same time, still welcome to the outsiders from overseas etc...

Cheers

Yeah, liberty.asn.au isn't the easiest name to remember.

.net is good, or .net.au

my 2 cents

don't forget you need a registered australian business to get the .au

if you're going to register a whole new domain, try out jumba.com.au - i got a .com with 12 months hosting from them for $13.95/au

Actually, ".asn.au" is the official TLD (top level domain) for clubs and associations, which is why I originally registered it.'

All you need to remember is liberty.asn.au
There is a link from there to get you to the forum, but I have more plans for the front page.

That said, there is something else coming up shortly, so hold your horses ;)

I think the .asn.au domain is fine. I think it's probably just a case of getting used to it. A while back, .net sounded strange because very few sites used it. I think that as more .asn.au sites pop up, we'll get used to them too.

YEah true.. but like everyone know and can remember .net, .net.au, .com, .com.au more easier, as that is more common..

Up to ric he is running it.. was just a suggestion as I have them on hold.. so ric even if u want to still get these, and once we get stickers etc.. made up we can still have these domain names also in use :) and it would mean that we can eityher have x2 diffrent domain names on the stickers or something..

Anyways yeah my 3 cents (everyone says 2cents so mine went up a cent :P )
