I was at German car show in ACT last October, and Audi dealer had a LHD R8 there, and it sounded fabulous - really strong note. Engine cover was clear perspex so all could see it.
There were also several of the 4.2L V8 wagons there with a mix of auto and 6MTs in the members group.

i saw a black R8 in hunters hill yesterday, unfortunatly he was about 100m away. so, sooo sexy
