Regular Checks on your Liberty

Postby WhiteGTB » Wed Jan 16, 2008 3:13 pm

What do you regularly check on your Liberty :?: :?:

1. My Air Flow Meter (AFM) - Open it with an allen key and spray the shit out of it with contact cleaner.

2. Engine Oil - Top it up with Royal Purple, just on/over the (F) indicator

Anything else guys?

Tyre pressures are the thing I check most - and not very often - before a trip. Same for oil levels - this car doesn't use any oil - just like all my other subeys.

Windscreen washer gets filled when it's empty.

All a bit slack I suppose.

I check my fluids (yellow caps) every couple of weeks and battery level once a month. I also check the spare once in a blue moon.

This thread makes me think of a conversation I once had with an old Dakota pilot.

He maintained that when he landed he used to check the fuel and fill up the oil. . .
