Hey Guys

Just a quick question a couple of weeks ago i was driving around when suddenly a really small (almost like a freezer bag) sort of bag was on the road the looks like it got caught somewhere on my car...as i can see it hit somewhere but never came out the back...i thought nothing of it

When i stopped, and turned off the car, i could smell almost like a burned plastic small coming from the engine bay area i suspect, so i opened the bonnet while car was running but couldn't see anything.

Anyway...took it for full service (was due) everything was changed, mentioned about that happened and the smell, but subaru couldn't find anything, even the mechanic i bring it too for upgrade etc etc, now the smell is happening less and less now, car drives fine, no one could see anything wrong with parts or oil etc etc...any experiences? ideas? its just a bit annoying thats all.

i'm thinking some small part of the plastic bag was caught somewhere and could of been melting....as the small never happened b4.

Thanks

Maybe get under the car and have a look around the exhaust or something? somewhere where it's hot and could melt.. i'd assume that.. ?

I had an ecutek tune done and along with a turbo back exhaust and new filter picked up about 40 Kw http://forum.liberty.asn.au/viewtopic.php?t=1431 . Made a massive difference to the way the car drives :D
