Just curious to know how many K's people have been able to get out of a tank of fuel out on the open road.

If you have the numbers please post em up. As well as the model of your car and the fuel that you were using.

I'm not interested in city driving , just out on the open road. Also if you use cruise control or not. I tend to because it's just easier that way.

Best I have recorded was about 750kms, but I can't remember what fuel I was running at the time.

Just ran through 59L of BP ultimate and racked up 704Km.
about 8.4L/100Km actual, computer rekoned about 8. in an MY04GT.
Run out of servo's to push my luck any further than that.

i got from brissy to just north of sydney on one tank. pretty impressed with myself actually..

cruised down there over night in one stint, on premium.. i was certainly on fumes by the time i got there, but still.

cant remember the actual exact figures, but that i guess gives you some idea..

that was in my MY06 2.5i too

My Best effort would have to be about 760 kays from a tank, on my way from newcastle to coffs and back, i filled up on the way back but i had got 735 kays out of the tank with 50 kays left to empty, i dont like running it below that.
