Richard Hammond - What Not To Drive

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Richard Hammond - What Not To Drive

Just had a look through this book by Richard Hammond (Top Gear, the short one who nearly died when he crashed the jet car).

In the chapter about "family cars", he has a selection of "cars that say you've not given up".
Number 2 is the "Subaru Legacy Spec B", in which he says:
It looks very low key, but in a cool, understated and stylish sort of way. But don't be fooled.
Underneath, it's a bit of a beast with a "rally-bred" four-wheel-drive system and a powerful engine. It's possible to go very fast indeed in this car, which should keep everyone quiet in the back.
The answer to the perennial quesiton, "Are we there yet?" will probably be, "Yes, but Daddy's got to go with the policeman now."

(This is high praise after you've seen what he has to say about most other cars! ;))
