Me AGAIN with another problem...

Ill try and make this one a lil shorter and straight to the point..

Im getting an error message up on my trip meter "Er IU" and the cruise wont work..

any ideas?

its already booked in to subaru for wednesday, they didnt seem to really give a shit, and i think they are getting sick of me going in, and i think they also got the gist that im not impressed and am sick of taking my car in to them for issue after issue!

I had the same problem up the snow this year. Worst thing was that the ABS didn't work either!

I think with any kind of warning like that the Cruise automatically cuts out as a safety precaution.

I left it for over night and it had reset itself.

I got the same reaction when I rang Subaru. They really didn't give a damn! I'd be more suprised now if they were worried and did give a damn.

Get stuck into the sods, it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease! You shouldn't have to stress over their incompetence. Hope it gets sorted.

"Er IU" means an error in the "Body Integrated Unit".
It could just be a faulty connection between the instrument cluster and that box, or something more serious.

yeah i have the shits with the whole car now, made a few phone calls today bout selling it, but unless i can get 28k for i will be selling it at a loss..
