I just bought a new set of front and rear brake rotors (DBA5000 slotted front; DBA Gold slotted rear) so I will be taking my old ones off for storage (unless someone wants to buy them, still got plenty of meat left! :D).

What oil do I use to apply to it to prevent it from rusting?

and don't say baby oil...

WD40 would do ,I have rotors in the workshop that have been their in a dry area for 20 years with out any thing on them just a little surface dust rust that will disappear as soon as they are fitted . So don't worry too much
Dont use KY as its water based and makes the slippery little buggers
