Spending on Mods

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Spending on Mods

Postby WhiteGTB » Fri Oct 05, 2007 1:59 pm

Not sure if this thread applies to everyone BUT what I do know is that it most certainly applies to some of us here... :)

Does your wife/girlfriend/partner know exactly how much you spend on your mods?

Does anyone know?

Well... so far the finance minister in my home can only put a value to the cosmetics of the GT so that is a relief...

I just word it differently. For example, the front lip coming in the mail, i just said its purely to protect the under part of the front bar from scrapes when going up my driveway.. I also said it costs a few hundred less than it does. :)

I thought about that same reasoning today when I was getting my car serviced...

And then sidetracked into.. hmm should I leave the car here for a day to get a haltech ecu...

One of my ex-gfs was into cars too... that was great, didn't have to hide anything because she'd be modding her car too

my fiance is into cars as tangcla is aware therefore I tell her all the mods.
She encourages me to do more, which is a bad thing. Like last night she was testing my car with the EcuTEK and she said, I was suppose to buy you this, i'll get the liberal albero front bar instead.. Woohoo. Then again when she gets her EVO X or whatever she gets, i'm gonna be broke from doing up her car.

there's an old gambling saying...

If you lose, you never tell your wife
If you win you NEVER EVER tell your wife!

modding is a bit the same for me.....
