Hi All,

Moved to Melbourne from Perth 2 weeks ago. Just had my car transported across the Nullarbor on the train from Perth to Melbourne. It was covered but still has a layer of desert on it.

Can anyone tell me the rules on washing your car in Melbourne and also, if anyone knows, a good place to wash your car in central south east area?

No home washing, you have to do it at a commercial car wash place.

From my experience they're pretty similar from one place to another. Washing on weekdays usually gives you more time per dollar

The one exception to home washing is if you have a rainwater tank, like me
