hey guys,
looking to get new coilovers for my my06 liberty and wanting to know what all you people are using before i get?
not looking for performance more just for the looks and something which isnt too pricey.

From what you'll see of them, all Coilovers 'look' the same.
Have a look on the Tech/Suspension board and see there are quite a few brand choices. Most folk are aiming for performance and quality but you may get an idea for pricing and availability.

If you just want the car low, get BC BR from JustJap.

I'm running KW Variant-2 coilovers. Made in Germany Very comfortable, much more comfy than just lowered springs.

There's a set of HKS Hipermax LS+ coilvers that are for sale on eBay. I was thinking of trying those... they should be comfy.

compared to standard suspension how is the comfort levels? I was looking at these too. the Tein s tech springs are shit on the bilsteins, need to get something not so back breaking over potholes/ramps etc!

Ohlins DFV with 80nm springs in the front, 70 in rear, 3.0RB wags.

True that ^ i guess we know the Tein Flex are known for comfort, so is the Ohlins but are the BC BR's or the HSD, or the KW's known or marketed in the same vein....

I'm running the Pedders XA extreme coilovers, I think I paid $1600 installed. Seems to be pretty comfy with stock rims. Good amount of height adjustment and plenty of shock settings too, has 30 settings from bouncy as to solid, have mine set on f/r-17/19

Actually I think the TEIN Flex are their entry level coilovers. The TEIN CS (comfort spec) is their comfort line
Also worthy to note is that Japanese coilovers are designed for Japanese roads (which are baby smooth) whereas the German coilovers (Ohlins, KW, Bilstein) are designed for European roads, which are more in line with our conditions.

I just googled them and came up with a price of $2800 AUD....and I don't think that includes delivery from japan
