I'd like to start off by saying that I am really going to be in the SH*&&%T if my wife hears about me posting this.

Wow talk about under the thumb. lol

How many of you guys have had your car returned after your wife has used it to find the front passenger rim ripped up after a gutter incident??

Whats the remedy - Do we all need a pare set of rims?

I guess I really would like a set of those new 07 B spec rims.

Yeah right here!

My girlfriend had a bad day behind the wheel. She kissed the gutter with my new rims 4 weeks after i got em that was AFTER she got a bit too close to a fence post... result- new bumper (scratched & cracked!), new headlight (tiniest scratch on it) & just nicked the guard next to the headlight (repainted). It was a fantastic sight to come home to

Doesn't that shiet you..... and you feel bad if you go off at them.
It happened with my old ride, didn't have to look at the scratch long cos some fecker decided to pinch my rims.

You can get rims repaired.

I've taught my wife to find a paking spot where's there no gutter or other cars, even if she has to walk 10 ks to the shops

A mate of mine lended his car to his mate and the car was returned with butchered rims and a cracked front bar, he was pretty pissed off to.

Simple answer is to get newer and bigger rims.

Yo Liber8ed that joint is Albion Wheel Repairs - ph#3852 5377. dont know much about em though just saw the ad in a magazine & thought i might give em a call one day.

My mate dinged his rx8 & the panel shop sent his two scratched rims to somewhere in Brisvegas, they came back like nothing had happened to em 8)

Mate if I took away her beloved MX5 I might as well cut off my old fella - Then again when one of the cars comes back home with dings, it feels like someone has kicked me in the balls anyway.

Excellent Rosso. I had no idea they could be repaired -

I have a mate that owns a big panel shop here in Townsville - i'll see if there is someone locally that fixes them. It's a bit hard send rims from Townsville to brissy and back.

I just sold my 01 Forester GT and it still had perfect rims after 5 years - my car is 6 months old and 3 rims have scratches. I guess thats the price of fashion
