I was perplexed when I used the up/down buttons on the wheel it seeked on radio, rather than switch between presets. Is this standard and if not, can it be changed?
Cheers

This one got me too, bit silly just to go up/down, would have thought should change the presets.
Ideas anyone?

that's how it works, I don't think it can be changed.

I noticed that on the loan car that I had while minew was in for a service the other day. Seemed a bit stupid...

For the benefit of those of us who are still Libertyless, in which model does this happen?

Any model that has the McIntosh 14 speaker system (GTB/RB etc).

Cosider yourself lucky that you have controls on the wheel !
Still trying to sort out if this can be added to my 07 .
Hey stunt girl , what is the chances of getting a wiring diagram for the audio system on an 07 kenwood system and a 07 Mcintosh system ?
Thanks

Ok. Thanks. Given how computerised most devices are nowadays, I'd be surprised if it couldn't be done. It might be more of a question for the McIntosh people rather than Subaru.

You can have mine. Steering Wheel stereo controls are a waste of time. The only useful one is the mute button.

The only good button on the steering wheel is the S# button. The rest I never use.
