SI Drive Cover

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

If I was to have a logo I'd probably get the sti on it, but I don't mind a bit of rice...

Looking at that picture of the prova knob, it looks very tall or is that just the angle? I'm assuming that we are keeping the height as close as possible, I know it has to be taller as it sits over it

Maybe incorporate club.liberty as a logo? eg. Club.Liberty.asn.au, CLUB.LIBERTY or something as simple as CL

Yeah :D . As a proud stickered member, I wouldn't mind that at all.

The Prova one is taller.. my design was based on a guess for dimensions originally. I've now taken the measurements and it's slightly taller than my original design.

Some good suggestions there Gene!
Id thought of the Liberty logo, and SI Drive is an interesting idea.

Here is the updated Model 3 to scale this time. Again the upper lip style isnt finalised, its currently just drawn in the same style as the Prova one.
Unfortunately the 1 measurement i forgot to get was the location of the LED.. so no hole in the top of the cover at this stage... so youll all have to use your imaginations haha

Also, unlike the Prova cover, my cover will not leave any of the OEM dial sticking out the bottom. For that reason, ill have to supply these with the double sided tape so that i can control the thickness of the tape.

It just keeps getting better and better Adam!

IMO the Sti is the most appropriate logo to have there. It's like it's factory optioned, it adds killerwaps and most libs have an sti badge somewhere anyway, wether it's a strut brace, pink springs, radiator cap or Enkei rims etc.

Great work Adam and dedication to this. Tbsti in these in my opinion would not suit the SpecB GT it's not sti model and that's a personal choice upon buying one of these vehchiles

Plain ones like with SI drive or options gene mentioned as an all rounder

Maybe people in the US might like these? It would help get the price down more if you can be bothered

Grest idea! Should I forward this to Discojon? (the guy in the US on the legacyGT forum, who 3D Prints a parts for Libertys/Legacys). I sell his DashRattle stoppers in Aus for him.

Agreed. As much as STi owners would love an STi one, I and most other people don't have a TbSTi. Not even close - despite having 2 STi parts.
+1 for the subaru logo 8)

EDIT: Oh, and awesome work Adam! :D I have to congratulate you on how far this has come in such a short amount of time.

How about "Liberty" in Zerosports emblem style lettering, diagonally across?

It gets to a point where the numbers really don't lower the price anymore. The main cost is the 3 hours it takes to make the first piece and get the cnc set up properly. I guess that by the time i post it on Facebook we'll have 30 covers easily. By then we've offset that cost mostly. After that it's simply X amount of covers per hour. Happy to make more for the US guys though.

Im liking that last render Adam. That has to be the best so far. As for emblems and the like. Im easy going. Sometimes less is more. the LED light may just be enough. A small 'LIBERTY' insignia could be enough to go the full diameter maybe, but other than that keeping it simple could be the way to go.
Cheers

Sounds like there is a bit of a spread of people that want a logo or who don't, maybe it could be an option to order one with a logo or without?

By the way thanks for putting in all this effort Adam
