CLUB.LIBERTY T-shirts???

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Apologies for the delay (very busy atm).....I toyed around with a similar layout to the RSLC tshirt but I thought that it looked a bit plain. I also experimented with some photos but there are issues with copyright unless we are able to source som photos ourselves. In the end I created two caricatures of the Lib GT Sti (one sedan and one wagon). Ive created the design in black and tints of black only so this should be acheiveable with one colour printing (ie cheaper).

Im happy to add colour and make any changes you guys suggest (or go back to the drawing board) let me know if there is a preference or any ideas that you think might work

version 1 (feel free to suggest a better tagline, if you think we need one?)

Wow, looks great, James. I think cariacatures are better than pictures because as you said, cost is one factor. But I think it's more general and is non-specific so that everyone can relate. Otherwise if you do a specific picture, a lot of people may feel left out.

I suppose in terms of looks, I guess I like the 2nd or the 4th one in terms of word placement and size.

We should get some ideas for the phrases from everyone. Here's my contribution. Note - I dropped the CLUB from the LIBERTY.ASN.AU. I think it looks neater and less complicated. Otherwise if you have it too long it's hard to remember:

Tuned By Liberty.Asn.Au
In a way it's true because I get and share all my parts and ideas from here.

Team Liberty.Asn.Au
All big happy family. Racism need not apply.

They are great, bloody great actually. I like number 1 the most. Adds a bit of 'something extra' to the idea. My wife would like it too as each time I get a new car i say that "I will keep it completely stock... honest".

:P

Keeping it 'black and white' would be the way to go as well.

ok, cool... I will change the words to say Team Liberty.asn.au.

Ric, do you have the eps file for this logo/URL?

Once Ive made that change I can start a new thread with the polling option for members to choose which design?

Phil, are you organising the Tshirt printing? If you have a preferred supplier, Im happy to liase direct with them to make sure they get the correct file format etc... We will need to know if it is screenprint, digital print or embroided (more expensive but we could do a small 'logo' type version for that?)

Ric, will you be organising distribution, costs etc?

cheers

James

I was mucking about on a site I know of for T-shirt production (vistaprint.com.au) and thought a 'realistic' view of what they might look like would be good.

I know they are up for some further change in design but it gives people an idea to work on.

Edit: I still like the top one  :P

I have used cafe press, not bad quality for one offs etc but the mob I posted the pics from have pretty good prices for small batches with no minimums and are located in Oz.
