Are they driving lights or fog lights?

Wow, thanks guys, so it looks like the Toyota dealer lied to me 7 years ago and for 7 years I have been driving around with my fog lights on. I am surprised I was never pulled up on it.

My owners manual refers to them as "Driving Lights" and the workshop manual refers to them as "fog lights".

I think Subaru are confused too :roll:

So... if using the factory fit lights on the Lib or Impreza in clear visibility, you will be fined ??

These lights would not dazzle or blind anyone, they project down onto the road immediately in front of the bumper, not up the road.

Are they driving lights or fog lights?
