3RB Traide in $$

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

They probably do not have enough Audis in stock to meet the demand and now they want to capitalise and make more profit. The cars that you are looking at are rare as well.

Go try other Audi dealers and see what they could offer you. May be you need some luck from Buddah himself. Say a little prayer before you make another call.

Finding a good trade is always hard, my business partner just traded his X5 BMW, the trade price varied by 10k from dealer to dealer. As in VW offered 50k, Mazda offered 60k. Weird.

That makes me think of Mr Pratt if you know what I mean.

Anna Coren or Tracy Grimshaw would love to hear a story like that.

They're screwing you over mate. Whilst you'll always get best trade in on a Suby at a Suby dealer, I just (about 2 months ago) traded my MY05 3RB Wagon 75000 K's for $29,500 on a Kluger at a Toyota dealer.

Mind you, it varies dramatically even between Subaru dealers. Same owner of two Subaru yards here in Perth, trading in 2005 MY06 WRX STi with 42000 K's, originally looking at buying a new 2.5 GTSPec B sedan, yard one offered me $36K unseen. Two weeks later went and looked at a second hand SpecB sedan at yard two for $51K, was offered $38K inspected. Back to yard one 4 weeks later, and just having forked out for 50K service at 44,000 K's, was offered $34K  against $62K Liberty STi (2nd hand). A week later back to yard two, and got $38K (same as they originally quoted) with 2000 more K's on it, bring over a Lib STi (2nd hand) from Suby HQ over east. So deal, done !! last week

Work on em, you should be able to get at least $32 I reckon.

Good luck - love the thought of the Audi. Would love an RS4 but the $$$$ !!!!
