JT at it AGAIN!

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

this is the wonderful weird world of internet. do whatever you like, say whatever you like, and in his case steal whichever pictures you like..

unfortunately for him, he's never going to amount to much more than a wanna be business man......his business practise means about as much as neons do to true automotive enthusiasts

He used to have a pic of my car on EBAY until i lodged a complaint with EBAY and he was asked/forced to remove/replace my pic.

If he didn't get your permission to use a pic of your car complain to EBAY.

Well..

1. He may be a member, probably is a member. It's not really my fscking problem if he's a member or even tries to play an alias on this particular forum. I'd like to see him have enough balls to intervene and speak his mind and try to defend his reputation. If he hasn't, then it really doesn't bother me at all either as that attitude already speaks for itself in my opinion.

2. Leading from the first option and Keyboard Warriors?? wth? lol.. anyways.. I would think that most people in the 25 post with priveledge access In off-lounge area etc are people we already know etc, and Ric confirms who gets in etc. However, that's only to say if you wanted a special area to post things that were moderated to minimise/avoid abuse of other members contributions etc.

3. It's the Internet, it's been around for 2 decades, and it only started to become popular to everyone in the late 90's. It's revolutionised and changed business practices and law etc and blah blah blah... Go to Sydney Morning Herald online for an article about AU Virgin Mobile being sued for using someone's photo from flickstr - like.. wtf..

4. Lawl @ neons.. reminds me of that stupid flaming DYI on ozliberty..

5. I've PM'd JT once on ebay. There was nearly a 2-3 week reply and even then it wasn't professional or informative. There was ZERO confidence in him ever gaining any business from me.

Problem is, there's a sucker born every day, but if you inform
one person a day you're doing a service to the community :D

Just out of curiosity, is the whole forum restricted access (i.e. requires account) or are there free viewing privileges?

i certainly think its bad that there is theft of photos going on, but i guess if the plates are covered, what harm can be done.. your can on the internet ha ha.

and as far as the members only forum goes. i say leave this here.. leave it as a warning to all the new jubes, and those folk which dont know about what has happened in the past. Make it a public forum, so what he has done to people is made public, and so no on else gets stabbed with the same knife.

im sure ric being the switched on budige he is, would have a good idea about people that are on these forums, and would have his eye on anyone sus, or that didnt quite look right... and im sure those of us who have been round for a while, would certainly take a second look at a "newby" posting in the for sales..

no offence to those of you genuine enough to have a legitimate sale. :)

Most of this forum can be read by anyone, but the "Members only" area can only be read after you register as a member, and the "off topic lounge" only after I've admitted you.

Wouldn't it be a good idea for all to be user-protected?
