not happy

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Very informative, nice to see a hands on approach with pics.

Didn’t you have an sti front lip?

Yep took it off before the pics. I did the dismantling of the car the night I got home (wanted to see what damage was done). The pics were taken when putting the car back together, there were a couple of pics I missed taking because I needed to be somewhere and didn’t have a lot of time to put the car back together.

Go after the RTA. You pay rego for a reason!

I know 2 people down here in Melbourne that similar things happened to and they went to VicRoads (our RTA) and they sorted it out. Took a bit of pushing but it got the required result.

G

Don’t think the RTA would do anything, it wasn’t their fault.

Phil you should inquire about your rim, but I know laws were changed to say something like if councils (not sure about the RTA) maintain the road to their best they are not at fault.

I think I read somewhere that if it was a new pot-hole they weren't liable but if they had previously fixed it and it deteriorated into a hole again then they were liable. I could be wrong.
