Printed a few more covers for test fitting on the weekend.. want to make certain of the fitment. It was pointed out to me that my current design wouldn't allow for intelligent mode to be selected. Dont know how, but i didn't realise it pushed into the centre console, i thought it there was a gap under the dial. So this means I have to finish the cover a bit short of the centre console. So adjustments are being made :-)

ahh of course. good to know. Thanks for the update

Yes, that would be important to have, even for those that rarely use 'I' mode, since there's no other way of selecting it.

Yes, didn't even think of that. Not that I use 'I' mode much at all but still would like to keep the option

I've been away for work the past 2 weeks so progress halted unfortunately. I'm going to do another test 3D print this weekend. Making some tweaks to get fitment perfect.

Still not happy with it. Want to reduce the diameter a bit more to make it a snugger fit. Was inter state all week with work so will do another test piece next week.

SI Driver Cover Update.
Apologies for the wait guys. Been interstate a lot with work the past few weeks, so progress came to a screaming halt. I will be 3D printing 1 more model on monday to get the diameter right. It's still a tiny bit too sloppy a fit for my tastes. Then I'll buy the double sided tape to test fit and adjust for that. All of that will happen in the next 7 days. Thanks for being patient everyone!!

No problem Adam, it's better to get it right. That's worth waiting for 8)

Latest test piece printed today. Internal diameter fitment is bang on where I want it to be! Now just need to buy the double sided tape and adjust the height to suit. Then we're in business :good:
