Delivery Charges - 3.0RBSpec - Auto Sedan

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Hi,
Does anybody have a idea on what should you expect the cost to be for on-road-costs for a 3.0RB-Spec Auto Sedan - MY07 ??

I would say between $100 to $1000 they make it up as they go along and charge whatever they like then discount it if you are not happy .
This is where the sucker buyer is fleeced.

Refuse to pay it and see what happens !!!!!

grunta007 dont listen to BUDDAH. Obviously he no idea when he speaks. I would estimate ORC to be about 6K. The only thing that the dealership charges you are:

Dealer charges (set price)
Rego (gov's peice)
CTP (required to drive ur car)
Stamp duty (Gov's peice).

So yeah if u need info u noe who not to go to.

I don't think Buddah was referring to full on-road-costs, just the "dealer delivery" charge...

Thanks for clarifying BUDDAH. I was actaully answering Grunta's question in the first post, which requires On-Road Costs, not just Delivery Charges.

Shop around Grunta, But I know that My dealership (not Liverpool Subaru) charges a standard price for delivery charges $1540.

BUDDAH you should really send a complaint to head office to communicate your dissatisfaction with Liverpool. You seem to still be affected by them. They will send on your dissatisfaction directly to the dealership.

The answer is, approximately:

Dealer delivery - varies but around $1500-$1600
Stamp duty - 3% to $45K then 5% above this. Assuming full RRP of $52,490 plus delivery of $1550, that's $1802
CTP Green slip - about $325
Registration - about $250
Plates and stuff - $100

So: about $4000.

Two dealers on here, no straight answer....

Don't forget, Spec B gets you up over the luxury tax threshold so little Johnny also takes a chunk out of your wallet.

LCT is 25% of the price over $57,009. Spec B sedan should just avoid this, accessories and options excepted.

ours total 3091 on the entry level subaru - 4405 on the top of the range.

hard to give a straight answer when so many variables are involved...

and clearly you guys all seem to know it all... who am i to get involved :P

happy to help you guys.... but email me or call and we can chat about it....

im not into talking prices on a forum.. at the end of the day its not my name on the roof of the dealership. therefore not my money to give away.

i do use my subaru powers for good not evil... and will do my best to have anyone of any of the forums im a part of a good deal.

28 people of rexnet are more than happy!!! 8) :D

thanks everyone!

Unfortunately, LCT is worked out on the total transaction. So if you add accessories it figures in the LCT calc. So all those options like two bars, paint protection etc push you up towards LCT territory.

Had to pay LCT on my Spec B Wagon.

Still, you're only paying it on the proportion which is over $57,009 so it isn't a huge hit.
