Fuel Display

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Did you know this existed? Fuel level is displayed when you press the trip meter with the key out of the IGN

Fuel Display

Postby CJ1177 » Tue Aug 19, 2008 7:39 pm

I just discovered some thing trippy.
When you press the trip meter button while the car is off it displays the fuel level & the trip meter (A&B) & Odometer
I thought this could be quite handy for those who have to record the Odometer regularly.
I wish my work car had this for when I fill up with fuel its a pain in the butt having to put the key back in to get the distance if i forget it

Yeah I remember something in the manual about it .. On my boring as all hell charter flights over to the jungle, and after only having my car for 12 hours, I read the manual start to finish a couple of times.. and while being stuck over I couldn’t drive my car, the closest I could get was to flick through the manual..

This is a wonderful feature, especially if you have a fuel card and you need to report your K's every time you fill up.

It is also faster to take the key out, and then press the button than to cycle through all the damn screens to find the K's.

Did you also know that if you hold the "i" button down within 10 seconds of putting in the key, you can turn the "needle worship" (also known as initial movement) on/off, set the time and date and also set your birthday and anniversary.

If you set you significant others birthday your cool car could save your relationship twice a year. ;)

Did you know your outside temp reads in minus degrees as well, I didn't until the other morning when I was on my way to work.

I didn't know that when you press the electronic lock on the key 3 times the car horn beeps for the purpose of finding your car in a carpark. So i thought i'd test it the other night in my garage but instead of the car just doing a honk, my whole alarm system went off and it scared the crap out of me.
