Where the tips join the muffler looks very squashed and restrictive :?

But for someone who wants an exhaust, it would have to be ok.

Doesn't look like it has a Cat, or any wastegate pipe on the Dump pipe, so I don't know how much better it would be than a stock system.

I wonder what brand it is?

Even though the seller's got a decent feedback rating, it would have been nice to at least state the name or brand of the exhaust system at hand. Can't just claim similar systems costs $2200 without any sort of backup.

However anyone looking for a stainless steel system may consider this. Flipping through the Hyper Rev book, it looks quite similar to the Fujitsubo Legalis R.

I posted a few questions up about this, no point in speculating. Will see what (if anything) the seller comes back with.

I have asked what brand, diameter, and whether it has a cat and waste gate on the dump - as you guys have questioned above.

I guess it's not bad looking if you want a bit of 'bling' for want of a better word.

There's a heap of generic exhaust stuff coming out of China these days. Considering that he's aiming at the "tuner" market & hasn't stated a brand, I would suggest its once of those.

In saying that, some of those Chinese parts can be pretty good. A mate of mine just finished building a S13 race car & he was very happy with the end result.

Heh-heh. But that's for a race car! You normally can't go wrong except for blowing up the engine. Otherwise for street use, and especially since this is for a Liberty not a WRX or EVO, you want brand name quality that has proven noise and quality control.

But yeah, it's hard to go wrong with generic systems which will satisfy the average user, but people with specific requirements will need to go with the more pricey brand names to get what they want.

Totally agree. My mate is using it for a different application, but I must admit I was impressed with the overall quality of the system he got.

Personally I'm a bit of a brand nut when it comes to cars. I'd rather spend the money to have an awesome brand when it comes to pretty much anything. Braging rights are almost what tuners crave! Its all about the street cred!

Isn't that what turner cars are all about? The awesome JDM look

Its a good feeling knowing that people like the look & style of your car (Or bike for that matter). Only thing is, it also make you worry about waking up one day & its been keyed, or gone completely.

Heh-heh. They do too. I wonder if the first seller bought an exhaust from N*Power and found out it didn't fit so they're re-selling it.

And why is it that 'high quality' has no name of the brand in this case?

Here is the answer they sent me but I notice they didn't post it up...

"hello, the exhaust i bought from pro performance in japan i had 3 this is last 1. It hhas no cat. It is 3inch from turbo it becomes 2 and a quarter inch at the point where it v's off to the mufflers. Mufflers have 3" tips, the mufflers alone at the exhaust outlet are worth $375 each. Originally me and few friends were going to put on the STI mufflers, they were way over $1000, this exhaust system with a high performance cat is fantastic. If you have any other queries let me know. I also have an engine brace brand new for sale if you are interested. "

There you go.
