Phone recommendations

I've cracked the LCD in my Nokia 6280, so I guess it's history.
Any suggestions what I should look at now?
I've always had Nokias, I just find them easier to use than the competition.
I don't need GPS (bigger screen on my Navman).
the 2MP camera in the 6280 was sometimes useful, but awful in low light.
I liked the big screen, ability to play videos and MP3s from a plugin mini-SD card, and the nice big keys allowed for by the slide design.

Something similar, but slimmer and tougher would be nice.
The 6500 slide is a possibilty. Haven't seen what price I can get it for yet. (Will probably try to buy outright rather than on contract.)

if you use next-g then i'd go (and did) the n95. I'd steer clear of the windows mobile devices had them before and laggy. The i-phone is "ok" but that's all. No stylus, touch screen ONLY and small onboard keys for text and email is stupid.

You going outright or on plan? If outright pm me

I just bought a W890i. I just need something super small, and calls/sms/Bluetooth. FM radio optional, glad I got it though.

Otherwise the W880i is a bargain right now. Secondhand <$200.

I am looking at the LG KU 990.

Have a few mates that have them and look and play the part.

Ric, do you need it to do anything fancy, or just take calls/sms? :)

Camera is handy. Watching small videos is nice.
I'm not worried about using it to get online or for playing games :)

Tougher would be better, seeing as how I killed the 6820 after 18 months.
It's a shame, the phone itself is still perfectly functional, but the display is stuffed. I'm sure I could get a new phone for not much more than it would cost to get the display replaced.
