NEW WRX

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

NEW WRX

Postby BUDDAH » Thu Nov 01, 2007 3:09 pm

Is it just me or do others think that the new WRX has lost the plot???
Its time for a new car for the wife and after owning 8 Subaru s Thought number 9 was a fair call.
Well after a good hour looking over the car and bullshit been thrown at me from all directions to why they cant put a sun roof in the car as it would lose its 5 star safety rating yet more bull shit as the STI has a roof .And why they had gone back to window frames was because Sydney is a bad place for break ins PMSL I said I lived in Redfern so I will be safe PMSL again .
I gave up and placed a order for a VW R32 3 door  6 speed auto roof leather ect .
It was way over what I originally wanted to pay buy I dont think it is going to be a second hand lemon in 3 years time .

Here is my answer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QEP7qDSdOU

the 130 is a GOAT  + 130 is only rear wheel drive Is hard to break the habit after 8 AWD s This is worth a look http://www.europeancarweb.com/tuned/040 ... index.html
I think this would be a nice shopping trolley

The BMW 130 is crap for space. It's designed for very tiny tiny people, very uncomfortable seats, if not the worst i've tried.

The VW I'd imagine is a lot more spacious, but I agree with Phil.. I had one guy tear off at the lights infront of me.. must've been waiting to launch at the lights.. powered up the hill past him without a problem..

Its not all about power and overtaking up hills My personal criteria was build and engining quality and this time around the R32 came out on top + the 6 speed DSG box is sooo sweet .
I don't think the wife will be looking for a drag race to the shops but if she dose she will have a fair chance of getting the best parking spot
