Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

what sort of details should i need to know about getting a set fitted, or when im looking for them.

should i go get them via dimensions, or buy engine size, or what.. you all know i have no idea

And what sort of price typically should i plan for?

You'd just go by whats available for your car and chances are that there will be only one available form each tuner.

As always i'd recommend something japanese simply because the better jap tunners spend a lot of $$ on R&D and the workmanship is very good.

You'd look for one with the cat removed, mandrel bends, equal length/tuned and a slightly larger pipe size than std. You'd also want a up pipe to suit your new headers.

Price wise, I'd say $1000+ as a guess.

Hope this helps.

Bye,
Mo

Its illegal to remove all cats - I think the GT has 3 of them.

Yup, just one ADR approved cat is all you need.
