I know you guys love pics, so...
- Mothers Claybar Kit inc. quick detailer and quickwax (probably won't use the latter) - $44.95
- Autoglym shampoo conditioner $15.99
- Autoglym super resin polish $26.99
- Optimum Opti-seal $59.95
- Dodo Juice red mist $29.95
not in picture: microfibre applicator pads x 2, 6 pack microfibre cloths, microfibre drying chamois, microfibre washing mit, 3 big buckets (one for shampoo, one for cleaning wheels, one for rinsing washing mit)
All this gear and chems should easily last 2-3 years. The initial outlay seems like a lot but you work it out to how much is spent every fortnight to keep the paint in top condition and it suddenly seems a lot more economical than eventually having to deep cut and polish or even respray panels (depending how long u wanna keep the car).
A good guide on how to use most of this stuff is on:
http://www.detailparadise.com.au/module ... icle&sid=3Read my earlier post on how I will be using the products I just listed.
Edit: I gave the car a proper shampoo and wash yesterday then used the Red Mist quick detailer/protectant and the car looks fantastic even before I have used any of the other stuff. The paint still feels rough in a lot of areas so is in need of claybarring, but the red mist still makes everything else look and feel really slick.
Gotta find a new time to hit the carwash with the buckets though, as I went pretty late and it was a race against time and frost appearing on my panels more quickly than I was buffing the last of them!
