I got the new clutch after a heavy day at a skidpan and I chose to upgrade rather than try to go warranty.
The clutch is stong, you can feel it though I'm not sure I've ever liked it. I can't changed gears quickly without it kind of slipping, though this doesn't happend if you press the clutch right to the end and change gears slowly.
Would someone in an MY05 GT drive my car for a minute or 2 or vice versa and allow me for a quick spin to see if my current clutch is dramatically different from others.
My wife doesn't think there is anything different..but what would she know
Gee you are game to fit a non OEM Subaru clutch if by any chance the gearbox lets go Subaru will use any trick in the book not to cover warranty .This was the case when I had problems Subaru knew they had problems with the clutches but insisted to replace them with OEM
