If you read above that's what I'm thinking of doing... you can get film already cut to the shape, you just need to install them, so far cannot find in AU but they are in the states (USA)..

Nah not them mate, another place, took me like 2 or more weeks to find it, it ended up giving me a headake, will look for the site later on an post it up, I better still have it! arhh!! I think I posted it to Jim in a PM so he might have it also, if he saved it..

Mano, I've PM'd you with the link. I also found another place that sells the tint film for the MY07+ taillights. A good thick quality as well (some of the sellers you come across sell the cheap thin stuff which are crap). Unfortunatey they don't have cut-outs for the face lifted taillights, but they do offere different shades like 75%, 50%, and 35%.

This may not be exactly on the same subject, but when in Japan 2 wks ago noticed the JDM Liberty sedans had what looked like red foglights in where those nausiating cheap and nasty fake infils are in the rear bumper.
Also saw some JDM Impreza sedans with those fake infils.

Perhaps the Phatman can do some more wallet-lightning???

I don't know if the JDM models light up, but the USDM models sport these and they are just reflectors. Not a big fan of adding more red to the car.

But for anyone wanting to tint the taillights, having the additional red bumper reflectors will keep you legal because you need to have something that reflects at the back.
