2nd hand Liberty advice

Hi all, have a question if anyone can help, well more of advice,
I have bought a 2006 liberty 2.5 GT spec b, now it has 240,000 km but a full service history, I was wondering how steady I should be with it? I like to have a squirt every now and again but I also don’t want to ruin her, but I don’t want to walk it the rest of its life.
Also wondering how long she would be expected to last?
