EOI/guidance - Stunning 1989 Liberty LX with only 39,000km

Hi all

My grandmother recently passed away, leaving behind her one owner from new 1989 Liberty LX.
It has been meticulously maintained and has done only 39,000kms! Yes 39,000.

Given that it is a 32 year old car, it is in remarkable condition. I’ve seen cars less than a year old look harder worn.

I would prefer for it to go to an enthusiast, as my late grandfather was a Subaru nut! He always looked after his cars to the nth degree - this one no exception.

At this stage, I was hoping to seek guidance on a range of what this might be worth.
It’s in truly stunning condition and I would expect the best around. It really is something special.

Many thanks
Peter

The price will reflect the previous ownership, mileage, condition and presentation based on general market price, availability and desirability of the cars specification.

As such, all you need to do is document the cars condition with considered photos, and get the cars story straight for the description.

Then ask the price you think it’s worth but mention the price is negotiable to the right buyer, preferably an enthusiast or collector.

You can then reduce the asking price incrementally on a weekly or monthly basis to show you’re motivated to move the car on.

I’d advertise it in Unique Cars and Carsales and or Facebook and Gumtree.

Agreed, feel free to advertise it for more than others then reduce the price monthly until it sells. Best way to move a car you feel is special

Thanks everyone.
Appreciate you taking the time.
It’s difficult to gauge a price, as they are none out there to benchmark from.

If I had a property with a storage shed - I’d hang onto it!

I’ve also joined the Subaru FB groups, so will likely put it there too.

Thinking of starting at $6,500-$6,750 + seeing how the market responds.

Cheers
