Need help - any Sat NAV DVD for Liberty 07 model

Hey fellow Liberty drivers,

I own a Liberty 07 Sedan with built-in SAT NAV.. owned it since 2011.
However, ever since my DVD disc stopped working, I couldn't use the MAP.

I didn't really care as I normally just travel certain places (work, work and work..) but as my wife started to drive it, she needs the MAP!

My friend burned a DVD for me, but the SAT NAV didn't recognise it and I think it requires an authentic disc.
Would anyone be kind enough to spare me with an old SAT NAV disc that is authentic?

If anyone can help me, that would be awesome!!!

Hi mate,
Yeah I can send you a link to an original Subaru Disc. It'll be an old Disc that was included with the car when new. But that'll fix your problem unless your Nav Disc Drive has died.

The updated Nav disc your friend got you will work well. But after a battery disconnect, the Nav system needs an Original Subaru Disc to load the menus etc. Once they're loaded (it does it automatically and takes less than 30sec), you can eject it and put the Updated Map Disc in, which just contain the maps. But those maps will be much newer, so those will be better for your wife to use.
