Coilover replacements for rough country roads.

Hi, I'm looking into replacing my Bilstein OEM 2007 B Spec MY08 shocks and springs. The car and suspension handles A Class roads brilliantly. It is the intermediate B and C class roads that do not get the care they should by the local councils.
On these B and C roads the passengers and driver and the suspension are having a hard time and not enjoying the ride. This is at advisory speeds, the bump stops are getting a work out..

I asked at the local Fulcrom franchise and was told that as Bilsteen do not make springs and they were yellow, King spring had been used and were too heavy?? They "Fulcrum" had nothing to suit my car
With this misinformation I am turning to real users for their experience.

I have no interest in track days or hill climbs, only on fast and comfortable country and interstate trips.
In the 1500kls I have had the car I have needed two full 4wheel alignments.

Alternatives I have come across in no order: DGR http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/201479093685 ... EBIDX%3AIT
BC Coilovers for road only use, Tein Street Basis.

Any other suggestion would be appreciated. I will be doing the remove and replace. :)

KW are top shelf.

Also have a look at the local offerings by Shockworks and MCA too.

MCA do the a comfort model coilover that has great reviews.

Bilstein do not make springs. at all. If they are yellow with bilstein stamped on them, they are H&R or Eibach. Bilstein supply springs from Eibach or H&R.
They were most likely King Springs though if they have no branding. Fulcrum know what theyre talking about, they have been selling that stuff for decades.

MCA are very good coilovers, they have the same components as Bilstein, they share the same 46mm piston / mono-tube, shim stack and dividing piston. use the same oil and gas pressure technology.
Murray Coote is extremely knowledgable and very nice.

Its a bit strange that youre wanting to go coilovers given they are sold to a market of people wanting stiffer and lower suspension, Not sure why you would just go new shocks and maybe some sporty springs to suit.
BUT if you really must go coilovers, go the MCA XC or Reds if you want a custom set up as they will be probably one of the only coilovers off the shelf that will be appropriate for any comfort at all.
Plus I think they can be re rated at any given time if im not mistaken.

MCA xc are $2050,for that money I'd rather bilstein b8 with swift springs or as mentioned KW

Also AFAIK MCA are using Taiwanese made materials... :?

Shockworks are brilliant on rough roads.
Very heavy duty Korean hardware, Aussie digressive damper technology ;)
