Suspension specialist Sydney East

Postby YamYam » Thu Nov 26, 2015 9:14 am

Anyone know a good suspension specialist close to Bondi? Want to fit coilovers, bushings, sway bar support brackets etc.

Only just got car back on the road and the old girl started making some strange noises yesterday, thought the exhaust had dropped

Maybe a good welder too as when I looked under the car I realised that I have snapped the bracket holding sway bar to sub frame so can't really drive too far :-(

Any help appreciated

Heasman on Princes Highway at Sydenham.
Brillstein authorised repairer.

Your broken bracket on the sub-frame?
Rear Sway Bar?
Do you have stiffening Brackets fitted?

Thanks for your reply, yeah it's snapped on the subframe. Been welded before, very badly by the look of it, but lasted less than a month

I have bought the AVO reinforcement brackets but obviously going to need subframe section welded properly too

I know Heasman mate but it is a bit of a trip from Bondi with car in it's current state

OUCH!
Seems somewhat disappointing that Whiteline and some other suppliers will supply an upgraded swaybar without including the required support stiffening brackets in the kit?

Why not remove the complete RSB and drive there carefully?
