Difference in STI vs GT bottom end

Yeah the s402 puts out the same higher power figures (as WRX STi).. so guess it would have the same engine & internals (forged pistons) as WRX STi.. I am pretty sure I read somewhere that this was the case..
MY08 Liberty GT-B tb STi 6MT -
With Just a Few Mods to (including but not limited to)..

Brakes - Suspension - Wheels - Intercooler - Headers - Exhaust - Dump Pipe - Turbo - CAI - Tune Etc..

Just Over 220kW ATW with more to come in a couple of weeks..

nah and far from it.. his got one of them hairdresser cars (VW Golf GTI)

a couple of guys have them here and have there own little work club..

Good question - isn't the S402 a 2.5L motor? And WRX STI is a 2.0L ?

JDM WRX STi = 2.0L

AUDM/USDM = 2.5L

it's basically an AUDM STi engine in it.

Mmmmm 402 twin scroll yummy.


but anyways... turbo kicks in a lower rpm, hence you will have more usable power down low, hence he would be correct.
Easist way is to throw 2 stockies on the dyno and check the curves.

The specs of the 08 seem slower than prefacelift. :lol:
