Shell V Power Racing

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Deep down I had the feeling that I was exagerating the benifits of VP-R
but I went for my 3rd fill today and.....

"PUMP NOT CURRENTLY IN USE"

had to fill up (half tank) on VP not racing. enormous drop in power 500m down the road.
In my mind this stuff is the real deal.

Hi guys,

I know maybe I shouldn't take what the Subaru Service Centre says as gospel, but when I asked them whether the MY06 GT can take the V Power Racing 100 Octane fuel, they said it's not good for the car and discouraged me from pumping it.

But from reading the posts in this thread, most ppl are happy with it.

Any reason why Subaru would discourage ppl from pumping V Power Racing?

Subaru or any dealership will tell u to steer clear from anything that may potentially damage something on ur car.

This is because they will incur the cost as you're car is under warranty.

Thanks Phil! Well, if it will be covered under warranty, might give it a go then! :D

Yeah I found fuel economy is not better than the normal Vpower though.

Ohwell you must give up on sumfing to gain abit of power.
