I Need a TV

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

I would like one like Barney's Tv's off How I met your mother......

The ones i've seen are 42 inch 1366 res which are fairly resonable in lower 1k bracket.

I highly recommend it! Basically the background is, they had a 25 million dollar budget and around 4-5 years to create a series to showcase planet earth. What you end up with is 11 (plus 2 bonus) episodes, each about an hour long, so 13 hours total. I have the blu-ray set and it comes in 5 discs so its a huge series.

Each episode is broken up into completely different themes, so you have the great planes, ocean deep, ice worlds, caves, deserts etc, all narrated by David Attenborough and is the first documentary series to be filmed in entirely high def, so 1080p goodness all around. I'm not the biggest documentary fan out there but i stayed glued to the tv for 2 days finishing all the episodes, it is extremely interesting. My God forests/deserts/ice look amazing on this!

I showed it to 2 of my closest mates when i first got it and now they both own the series themselves so if you don't even like docos, just grab it to show off what high def is all about. :)

EDIT: Watch the youtube preview here

Was going to get a Sharp before which was also 46 1080p lcd, we got it worked gradually :butcher: from 28 something to final 21, deal. Then found out they only had display model. put the sad face on :( got it down to 2k. Did the moping around, um, er , pause etc.

Hmmm Nah deep down wanted new.., looked around sad face on some more, corner of eye looking at the bravia.... :man_in_love: hehe

They had it at 35 then then my boss spooled her turbo... 26. Umm ar...pause then we flicked the fully f&f nitrous switch and got it to 24.

Dunno how Vin Deisel some others get whilst negotiating, but thought the tight ass asians did :ok:
At least until the market drops some more.
