i was going through at least 6 globes per month there at one stage, i tried a/m globes, i tried standard, i tried expensive ones, cheapos, nothing seemed to work..
but since putting the HIDS in, in the buy that Ben set up, they have not missed a beat, and they are the single most worthy mod i have done on the car... so far....

The other possibility is that there is not enough current/voltage to the HIDs. I'm going to try to run a relay to it soon...
