Opinions on 07 Lib

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Got my invite in the mail the other day to take one for a test drive, might have to make the time, lets face it, the looks are secondary to the driving experience.
idrive is going to be interesting, these days I tend to drive my car round like an old man, but the trouble is with that is when I do feel like giving it a bit of stick the ECU is slow on the uptake and isn't as punchy as I'd like it to be. would be nice to just hit that S# button and have it all there when you want it.
My current 04 goes has plenty of get up and go, but for it to be really sharp, you have to fang it around for a while for the ECU to realise that's how you want to drive it.

Luv the new specB wheels, the grill looks more muscular but still prefer the sports grill. not real fussed on the rear vents either.

Apparently stiffer body for improved handling - Hav'nt driven one yet.

I like the idea of dual memory seats and dual A/C - i'm always freezing my nuts off course the wife like it cold. Or the seat is kissing the windscreen after she drives it.

Apparently the Mac now is MP3 compatable - Does it have a usb port somewhere??

The McIntosh is mp3/wma compatible. The auxillury jack is an option to be fitted in the centre console.

From what I gather, no USB port.
Iwill play MP3 and WMA recorded onto a CDROM, and also as an audio input jack mounted in the centre cubby next to the auxilary power jack.

Only seems like a slight improvement over the 06 mac. The 06 mac plays recorded discs without a prob. Shame they did'nt go all the way with usb , bluetooth etc.

But only if you record them in CD format, so 74 minutes max.
The '07 supports MP3 format, with folders.
Otherwise just plug your iPod into the aux-in jack :D

I like the fact it's mp3 compatible & its got the aux jack option, be nice if the gen iv came with that. it be great for long drives, if you dont have an ipod/mp3 player & tuner.

bi-xenons too... i like
Cheers,

Rosso.

MP3 head units are great, had one in the old car. I have to drive to Mildura for work about once a month (about a 6 hour drive if you go direct, which I don't) it's a pain in the arse having to lug around a heap of CD's.
