Melbourne water restrictions stage 2

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Melbourne water restrictions stage 2

Postby vp920b » Mon Aug 30, 2010 2:27 pm

Good day,

Just read in newspaper that water restrictions in Melbourne will come down to stage 2, effective from 1 september 2010, so it's tomorrow

So you guys in Melbourne can wash your car by your self using bucket or water saving sprayer(e.g karcher).

Just FYI btw.

Thanks

Karcher got special offer in Supercheap auto.

$100 dollars only for the basic one, more than enough.

But I'm afraid if I buy it, when it comes on summer, it will be going back to stage 3.

Right now, I might open in house car wash. hehe.. :D

@Henry

Thanks for the correction. I thought it's already at the end of the month. hehe. :P

It will go back to Stage 3 once the state election is over. 40% full is nothing to make a song and dance over.

But oh well, enjoy washing at home while it lasts guys :)

Always have, always will, until bucket washing at the car wash is less of a PITA.

Yep. I live in a pretty secluded area and the only neighbour that can see me washing my car happens to own 2 jetski's, 4 motorbikes, a 3 wheeler ATV, BMW X5 and Ford F150. The last thing on his mind is saving the environment.
I only do it once every 3-4 weeks anyway.
