^^^ There ain't nothing wrong with a Dino... I'd take a 1967 246 GT or GTS any day of the week :D

Blade Hunter wrote:In such a case, Cayanne, even though Top Gear said it was one of the best off roaders they had ever driven, how many people would actually take it off road? Are they just buying it to show off?

4WD's are just seen as cars now... I mean, why does a mother who drive their kids to school need to have a 2 tonne truck?

I have heard the excuse "oh, I like to step up into my cars"... What a load of crap...

Needless to say, I'm not a fan of 4WD's on city roads... Sure, if you have a reason to have one (IE - You go off road or are a farmer etc) then that's a different story. But to just have one has a daily doesn't make sense to me.

My apologies to those that own 4x4's... I've just seen too many prangs involving them & had one too many close calls because most of their drivers think they have god mode turned on the minute they kick over the engine.

LOL, I agree though, I am not a fan of 4WD's being used as anything other than a 4WD.

I was walking across the road on my way to work and got hit by a BMW X3 last week, so i'm very anti 4WD at the moment, especially in the city.

(P.S. I'm ok, just some minor cuts and bruising on my legs and arms, back to work next week)

*Puts on flame suit*

 I think we may be the pretenious ones at the moment actually.

We're refering to 80k BMW's as the poor man's M3 & Alpha's - Good ones aren't cheap - as a poor man's Dino (aka sort of a Ferrari)... Don't get me wrong, I get the reference & get where everyone is coming from, but most of us here haven't spent that sort of cash on buying our cars :P

Although some of us have spent up around that by the time we've finished modding though :P

BMW X6, piece of junk according to top gear review.

It's off road ability is shit. can't even stand still in a hill. and it's not comfortable as well.

It does look good tho. besides that it's shit.

I wouldn't take anything review Top Gear has done to heart mate... They are more about entertainment then reviews.

But yes, the X6 doesn't really fit anywhere... But from the people that I know that have driven them (X6M at least) they all think they are fantastic.

the 135? the 335 would be similar. Just a tweak of the boost and fuelling and away you go I guess. Two turbo's on an engine rated at 200kw without forced aspiration and all they rate it at is something like 220kw? Yeah, there's gotta be heaps of potential lurking there
