Another central locking problem thread

I'm having some issues with my rear passenger side door, it seems a bit 'retarded' literally basically when it's cold (or hasn't been unlocked for a while) the door doesn't unlock, and it takes a few unlocks before it will disengage.

If you're sitting inside the car and you use the central locking button to unlock, you can actually watch it move slower than the other doors.

I have had Subaru take the door apart and they tell me they found nothing wrong - which is clearly not the case

Has anyone else had any similar experiences?

Yeah this happened on my MY05 GT, rear passenger door lock would play up.

Took it to subaru & they had heard about it before but it didnt fault when they checked it out so they didnt fix it.

Sold the car before i got it fixed so i told the guy i sold it to to get it checked out, dunno if he has

Apparently it's different from the recall problem, so it would not be a free repair...

oh well. It just means I have to press the unlock button on the remote a few more times if I have rear passengers I can live with that. It's not worth $400!

WTF? If your car is still under warranty and you didn't cause damage to the locks, it should be covered under warranty - read your warranty info and take it up with your subaru dealer.

It's not under warranty MY04 model, February.
